Albertsons LLC Names Kirby VP, Marketing

BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons LLC here said Friday it has named Amy Kirby as vice president, marketing, a new corporate position.

BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons LLC here said Friday it has named Amy Kirby as vice president, marketing, a new corporate position, with responsibilties for overseeing all traditional marketing functions; developing companywide campaigns and translating them to regional strategies; and advising division leadership on advertising.

Kirby had served as marketing director of the original Albertsons from 1994 until 2000, when she left to become a marketing partner in Ivie and Associates, Flower Mound, Texas; and in 2006 when Albertsons LLC was formed, she became senior account director for the chain. Four years later she was named vice president, sales and marketing, for Pangea, Denver, with additional responsibilities for software deployment and client services.

According to Bob Butler, executive vice president of operations, "Amy was a key member of the Ivie marketing team that helped us develop and execute successful marketing programs across our company during a time of constant change.
