Big Y Announces New Cake Designs

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Big Y Foods will debut a new line of cake decorations on May 16, the retailer announced on its Facebook page.

Some of the new options from the Modern Cake line shown on Facebook include brightly colored flowers, zebra print and special lettering. The cake itself will stay the same but there will be new colors and designs, Big Y said.

The retailer’s Facebook fans responded positively to the announcement. “The Modern Cake line sounds like it will be a big success!” said one follower.
