The four varieties of the new 5-inch cakes are German chocolate, triple chocolate, carrot and Glimmer Glaze, a white cake with vanilla icing and “glimmer glaze” poured on top. The new 1/8 sheet cake types include classic, fruit basket, Chantilly and tres leches.

“Guests will really taste the difference in these cakes created by our cake specialists,” Tammy Kampsula, business director of bakery for Market Street, said in a press release. “Our in-store cakes have always been a hit, but we are excited to now offer guests the opportunity to truly customize cakes that taste as good as they look.”

Market Street recommends customers order cakes at least 24 hours in advance but bakeries can usually accommodate orders made on shorter notice.
