Price Chopper Taps Mandrillo for New Bakery Post

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Price Chopper Supermarkets here on Friday said it has hired Jay Mandrillo as director of bakery merchandising, a newly created post at the 129-store chain.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Price Chopper Supermarkets here on Friday said it has hired Jay Mandrillo (pictured) as director of bakery merchandising, a newly created post at the 129-store chain.

He will oversee bakery procurement, merchandising, sales and developing competitive programs for Price Chopper. He reports to Keith Frosceno, group vice president, fresh foods merchandising.

Mandrillo most recently worked in the bakery and produce areas at Wakefern Food Corp., Keasbey, N.J., and previously worked for Pathmark, Kings Super Markets and Stop & Shop.
