SALISBURY, N.C. — Food Lion has launched a line of private-label flavored sparkling waters.

“Cool down from the summer heat and try our new Food Lion Sparkling CHILL Water,” Food Lion wrote on Facebook last week.

The Chill-brand beverage is sold in 17-ounce bottles in three flavors: black raspberry, orange mango and kiwi strawberry.

One Facebook fan compared the line to the "Sparkling Ice" brand of flavored sparkling waters.

“These are a spinoff of the "ICE" waters, and cost $.75 instead of $1.00 each...pretty cool,” the Facebook fan wrote.
