These are a few of the names shoppers have suggested Food Lion rename its store brand carbonated soft drinks.
As reported, Food Lion, in a Facebook promo, is letting customers rename its store brand root beer, ginger ale, orange soda, grape soda and fruit punch.
Among the hundreds of suggestions are Groovy Grape, Roaring Root Beer, Tangy Orange and Lemon Lime Divine.
Food Lion will post some of the most popular suggestions on Facebook May 7-13. The public will get to vote on their favorite.
Five grand prize winners will receive $500, plus a one-year supply of free private brand soda. Ten more winners will receive a $100 Food Lion gift card, as well as a three-month supply of private brand soda.
