Heinen’s Fine Foods’ beer and wine director, Ed Thompkins, helped drive a brewery partnership resulting in an exclusive craft beer that will be sold in its stores.

Cleveland's Buckeye Brewing and Pittsburgh's Rivertowne Brewing Co. have combined forces to create OH-PA, an India Pale Ale. The 4.8% alcohol IPA will be sold in draft and can for a limited time beginning late next month. It will sell for about $9 for a six-pack of 12-ounce cans, according to a pubished report.

Thompkins acted as an intermediary between the brewers, according to Heinen’s. Warrensville Heights, Ohio.

 “Our wine and beer buyer, Ed Thompkins is at it again,” Heinen’s wrote in a Facebook post. “This time he brought together Cleveland's Buckeye Brewing and Pittsburgh's Rivertowne Brewing Co. for a new collaboration that we'll be offering in late February.”
