The program is set to begin Sept. 1 at Buehler’s Delaware, Ohio, location and at Speedway gas stations throughout Ohio. Buehler’s Rewards can now be used for groceries or fuel when the customer links their Buehler’s Advantage Card to the Speedway’s rewards card.

Customers may then decide to spend their earned points on grocery discounts at Buehler’s when they check out or to spend them on fuel discounts at any Speedway location. Leftover points may be used later on groceries or fuel.

“We wanted to make it very easy for our customers that choose to use their Buehler’s Rewards for fuel discounts. Our partnership with Speedway makes our customers happy because of Speedway’s many convenient locations and their already very competitive fuel prices,” Dan Shanahan, Buehler’s chief operating officer, said in a statement.

Grocery rewards may be redeemed in $10 increments and fuel rewards may be redeemed in 10-cent increments at Speedway stores.
