“We know that our customers want to eat healthier,” said Jack Brown, chairman and CEO of Stater Bros. Markets, San Bernadino, Calif., in a statement. “That’s why we’re delighted to be the only supermarket chain in Southern California to offer Wholesome Goodness.”

The 56 SKU line that was created by industry veterans Jeff Posner and Rick Letizia is expanding its distribution on a national basis throughout the U.S. It includes hot and cold cereals, snack chips and mixes, granola bars, sauces, dressing and beverages, including 100% antioxidant juices and soy, rice and almond milks, and is available in almost 5,000 store nationwide.

Correction: This article has been corrected from an earlier published version and now reflects accurate information about the strategy of national distribution on a non-exclusive basis and the identity of the executives who created Wholesome Goodness.
