The 2019 Fresh Foods Survey shows trends and areas of growth, including e-commerce, for the perimeter departments. The research was conducted online from Jan. 16 through Feb. 6 and included retailer, wholesaler, manufacturer and marketing respondents. Each respondent is responsible for part of the fresh food department in either a sales, marketing, merchandising or vendor/manufacturer arena. Answers for the survey include all respondents, for which there were 88 completed surveys. Full results of the survey will be available for purchase online in the coming weeks.
