LAKELAND, Fla. — Publix Super Markets has expanded its free online deli ordering system to 50 stores.
First launched as a pilot program in August, customers can use the online system to pre-order sliced meats, cheeses and custom subs then designate a pick-up time and location. The system was specifically designed for smartphone users.
There is no fee or minimum amount for online orders, and payment is made at the time of pick-up. Customers can make changes after orders are placed by calling the pick-up location’s deli department.
