SpartanNash Co. has launched a private brand of heat-and-eat meal solutions called Good to Go!.

Part of the company’s two-year-old Open Acres fresh label, the Good to Go! line includes dozens of products, ranging from complete meals and entrees to side dishes and desserts.

SpartanNash said Good to Go! is available in the deli at Family Fare Supermarkets, D&W Fresh Market, VG’s Grocery and Forest Hills Foods stores in Michigan. Plans call for the brand to roll out to the grocery distributor’s more than 300 Michigan independent retailers in the coming months.

“Our store guests enjoy serving home-cooked meals to their friends and family but don’t always have the time to make it themselves. With Good to Go! entrees and sides, we’ll do the cooking for you,” said John Paul, vice president of private brands at SpartanNash. “Whether it’s ready-to-eat, ready-to-heat or interactive meal kits, Good to Go! is our solution for today’s busy lifestyles.”

Prices for Good to Go! side dishes start at $3.99, while meal options run $4.99 to $7.99. SpartanNash noted that the brand includes trending flavors and comfort food staples, such as tilapia with lemon orzo, chipotle chicken, shepherd’s pie, twice-baked potatoes and apple crisp.

Good to Go! complements the Open Acres line with a menu of convenient meal solutions and simple side dishes at an affordable price, according to SpartanNash. Open Acres, introduced in 2016, features more than 1,000 fresh-made produce, bakery, deli, meat and seafood options.

“SpartanNash’s private brands offer our store guests high quality and cost savings in every aisle of the store,” Paul added.

Other SpartanNash private brands include Our Family (grocery, frozen, dairy, meat, general merchandise, and health and beauty care), @Ease (frozen meals, snacks and sides), Full Circle Market (organic foods and beverages), Stoked (artisan frozen pizza), TopCare (HBC), ValuTime (value grocery items), Tippy Toes (baby care), PAWS Happy Life (pet care) and Pure Harmony (premium pet care).

SpartanNash currently operates 142 supermarkets, primarily under the banners of Family Fare Supermarkets, D&W Fresh Market, VG’s Grocery, Dan’s Supermarket and Family Fresh Market.
