Allegiance Retail Services on Wednesday announced the appointment of Vince Colatriano at VP of grocery.

Colatriano will assume responsibility for grocery, DSD, natural/organic, ethnic and HABA/GM for the Iselin, N.J.-based supporter of Foodtown, D'Agostino and other independent retailers.

Colatriano has more than 34 years of experience in the supermarket industry. He began his career with Pathmark, where he served 26 years in a wide variety of store operations and merchandising positions, including corporate advertising and sales analyst; senior grocery category manager; senior meat category manager; and director of grocery sales and merchandising. In 2006, he joined Kings Super Markets as VP of non-perishables, his most recent position.
