McCaffrey’s Names Brohm COO

LANGHORNE, Pa. — McCaffrey’s Supermarkets here said on Monday it has hired Fred Brohm as chief operating officer.

LANGHORNE, Pa. — McCaffrey’s Supermarkets here said on Monday it has hired Fred Brohm as chief operating officer.

He most recently was executive vice president at Kings Food Markets, Parsippany, N.J., with responsibility for marketing and the development of overall corporate strategy.

At McCaffrey’s, Brohm will be responsible for the daily operations of all four McCaffrey’s locations, while taking part in strategic planning and growth efforts for the company alongside Jim McCaffrey IV, executive vice president, and James McCaffrey III, president and chief executive officer.

“His experience in the industry combined with his knowledge of multi-channel marketing efforts and corporate strategy make for an exciting future for McCaffrey’s Supermarkets,” Jim McCaffrey IV said of Brohm.

“The addition of Fred to our team is a major accomplishment for our company,” said James McCaffrey III. “We look forward to the positive impact he will have on our business and are glad to have such a strong asset added to the team.”

Brohm has been active in supporting hunger relief efforts and has served on the board of directors for both the New Jersey Food Bank and the New Jersey Food Council.
