Price Chopper appoints Taylor to HR role

Golub Corp., parent of the Price Chopper chain, said Tuesday that Leo Taylor has been hired into the position of SVP of human resources, reporting directly to Scott Grimmett, EVP and COO.

Golub Corp., parent of the Price Chopper chain, said Tuesday that Leo Taylor has been hired into the position of SVP of human resources, reporting directly to Scott Grimmett, EVP and COO.

In his new position, Taylor will be responsible for teammate relations, talent management, training, human resources information systems, compensation, benefits and communication for the 134-store chain. He comes to Price Chopper with more than 25 years of experience with Dunkin’ Donuts National DCP, TopBuildingJobs.com, Pulte Homes, Aetna and Frito Lay. Most recently, he served as COO of Dunkin’ Donuts National DCP.

Taylor holds a master's degree in industrial and labor relations from the College of Business & Economics and a bachelor's degree in political science, both from West Virginia University. He will be relocating to the Capital District shortly with his wife, Kitzi and son Blanton. Additionally, Leo has two grown children, Grant and Kalli.

Based in Schenectady, N.Y., Golub Corp. owns and operates 134 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
