Weis Names Neuberger to Operations Post

SUNBURY, Pa. — Weis Markets on Monday said it has appointed John Neuberger as its new vice president of operational administration.

SUNBURY, Pa. — Weis Markets on Monday said it has appointed John Neuberger as its new vice president of operational administration.

In this position, Neuberger will oversee the company’s store support functions related to budgeting; sales and labor; best methods for operations and retail efficiencies; inventory shrink; net income performance; and total store customer service.

Neuberger has more than 30 years of food retailing experience. Prior to joining the Weis, he worked as director of loss prevention at Price Chopper Supermarkets. Earlier in his career, he worked in store support, as a category manager, labor and budget expense controls along with various store level supervisory positions.
