CINCINNATI — Kroger Co. is recalling Kroger Fresh Selection Tender Spinach 10-ounce packages from 15 states for a possible listeria contamination.

CINCINNATI — Kroger Co. is recalling Kroger Fresh Selections Tender Spinach 10-ounce packages from 15 states for a possible listeria contamination.

The spinach, which has a "best if used by" date of September 16, is being recalled from Kroger stores in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, and from Kroger banners Dillons, Baker’s and Gerbes stores in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska, according to the Food and Drug Administration. 

The spinach was sourced from NewStar Fresh Foods LLC.
