WASHINGTON — Retailers around the country are recalling Taylor Farms prepared salads and salad mixes that contain ingredients previously recalled by Reser’s Fine Foods, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
The secondary recall, initiated by Taylor Farms, has not been linked to any illnesses. Reser’s began recalling certain ready-to-eat products last month because such products could have listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Retailers affected by the Taylor Farms recall include Acme Markets, Associated Wholesalers Inc., Big Y, Bi-Lo, Dominick’s, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Giant of Maryland, Houchens Market, Market Basket, Mars Super Markets, Meijer Inc., Piggly Wiggly Carolina Co., Price Chopper, Randalls, Redner’s Market, Schnuck Markets, Shaw’s, ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Supervalu, Tom Thumb, Trucchi's Supermarkets, Wakefern Food Corp., Weis Markets and Winn-Dixie.
A full list of recalled products can be found on the FDA’s website.
