SANTA MONICA, Calif. — The Retail Dietitians Business Alliance has announced the launch of an online career center as part of its expanded services platform. The online bulletin board in the “members area” of the organization’s main website will provide “simple, straight-forward” postings of retail dietitian job openings, as well as nutrition professionals seeking employment in the retail sector.
“One of the fastest growing trends in retail — including grocery, restaurants, foodservice outlets and drug stores — is the hiring of registered dietitians to engage shoppers and leverage health and wellness as a competitive advantage,” said Phil Lempert, president and CEO of RDBA and an SN contributing editor.
SN is a charter member of the RDBA, which serves as the professional group to the more than 400 retail registered dietitians throughout the U.S. that help customers and employees with food and nutrition issues.
