SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Dietitians at select Price Chopper Supermarkets locations will lead Mediterranean diet store tours later this month.

The free tours, which coincide with National Nutrition Month, will guide customers throughout the store to point out nutritious foods, including snacks and desserts. Dietitians will also emphasize new foods to try and wallet-friendly options.

Tours will take place from March 18-30 at stores in Connecticut, New York and Vermont.

A recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found following a Mediterranean diet can reduce the risk of heart disease.
