WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Hy-Vee’s private-label Blue Ribbon beef and pork packaging now features a sticker with a four-digit code that can be entered into a website for cut-specific recipes and information.

For instance, when the "EZ Cook" code for Blue Ribbon Beef Flank Steak is entered at http://hyveeblueribbonezcook.com, a recipe pops up for ginger-teriyaki flank steak. Other recipes include Country-Style Beef Ribs with Peppers and Onions, Easy Beef Stroganoff, and Cola Pot Roast with Vegetables.

“You'll find easy-to-follow directions for making a delicious meal and links to more recipe ideas from simple suppers to fancier party options for family and friends,” Hy-Vee states on its website.
