WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Hy-Vee here, with more than 200 supermarkets in the Midwest, has begun leveraging the IRI Impact for Retail Business Intelligence Portal, from Information Resources Inc., Chicago.
The system is being used “to help address everyday business questions for our category management team,” said Bernard Beary, Hy-Vee’s assistant vice president, category management/dairy, in a statement.
The Web portal allows Hy-Vee “the ability to quickly and easily identify potential problem areas on which to focus. It also enables us to dive deeper and determine where we need to improve our overall performance. The solution offers pre-built business questions that easily direct our teams to the most critical analyses and information.”
