MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P’s Pathmark banner has launched “Pathmark Perks,” a reward program offering up to a 20% savings at checkout.

“The more you shop, the more you save,” Pathmark states in promotional materials.

Each time a shopper spends $300 with her loyalty card, she receives a 5%-off checkout certificate good toward a future purchase. Customers must save all coupon certificates and present them to the cashier at the checkout on a future trip. They can redeem the certificates individually, or save up four for a maximum of 20%, limited to $500 in savings.

The promotion kicked off March 4 and runs through April 24.
