FT. WORTH, Texas — Albertsons, Kroger and Safeway are among the retailers merchandising Mrs. Renfro’s pink-lidded Green, Mango Habanero, Black Bean, Raspberry Chipotle, Habanero and Peach salsas during the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October. A portion of the proceeds from their sales will go to breast cancer research. Mrs. Renfro’s has earmarked $10,000 for M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and $5,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
