7-Eleven has expanded sales of its kolaches — Czech sausage rolls — to 450 stores in Texas.

Stores in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio areas will sell two varieties of kolache: Pork and Beef Sausage, and Pork and Beef Sausage with Jalapeno and Cheddar. The kolaches are served warm from the Hot Foods Case.

"Kolaches are so popular in Texas, and this new item gives our customers another portable, hot breakfast choice," Kelly Buckley, VP of Fresh Food Innovation, said in a press release. "One challenge was to make sure the kolache remains tender. We worked on several iterations to ensure the dough was soft, tender and light."

One 4-oz. kolache retails for $1.69, or two for $3.
