Tops Customers Vote for Specialty Pizzas

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Customers of Tops Friendly Markets voted for three employee-designed specialty pizzas that will be available in select stores soon, the retailer announced on its Facebook page.

Through a Facebook contest that ran Oct. 27-Nov. 16, customers chose veggie hummus, sweet and spicy pepper chicken, and roasted red pepper, artichoke and chicken as the three flavors they wanted to appear as a “Pizza of the Month.”

Tops employees submitted recipes as entries in the contest.

Customers who voted received a coupon for $1 off Tops’ new Carry Out Café pizza.
