The retailer plans to stock Strauss’ Chiappetti Meat Company lamb as well as Strauss Free Raised beef and group-raised veal. All meats are sourced from independent family farms.

“We are very excited to be making the Chiappetti brand available to our customers,” Jason Resner, Price Chopper’s VP of meat merchandising, said in a press release. “We’re confident that the superior quality of their chops, grinds and roasts, as well as their best in class animal welfare practices, will be well received by our customers and further establish Price Chopper as a signature destination for lamb, veal and grass fed beef.”
