SN Top 10: Walmart, Walgreens, Kroger top the week’s headlines

Here are the most-read SN stories this week

In this week’s recap of the Top 10 most popular Supermarket News articles, the top story was about Walmart closing three more stores, which brings the retailer to six confirmed closures so far this year. Walmart will close two stores in California and one in Maryland, the company confirmed.

In other news, Aldi dropped a $13 pair of branded sneakers and additional merch ranging from pet sweatshirts to jogging pants. According to the grocer’s digital circular ad, which encourages shoppers to “Let your (Aldi) fan flag fly,” the merch sales runs through March 26.
