CVS adds premium assortment to vitamin line

CVS/pharmacy, Woonsocket, R.I., has introduced Radiance Platinum, a premium store brand line of 100% preservative-free vitamins and supplements.

CVS/pharmacy, Woonsocket, R.I., has added a premium assortment to its store brand line of vitamins and supplements.

Radiance Platinum offers 44 vitamins and supplements that are preservative-free and have various benefits, including options such as probiotics, B-12, and multivitamins for both men and women.

The line includes selections that are certified non-GMO, gluten free, certified organic, and those suitable for both vegans and vegetarians.

“It's our job to listen to our customers and offer products that address their various health needs," George Coleman, VP of merchandising, store brands and quality assurance for CVS, said in a statement. "We are continuing to find ways to help our customers on their path to better health by introducing store brand product lines that they can't find anywhere else."

In addition to the introduction of Radiance Platinum, the existing Radiance line has been reformulated to make it 100% preservative-free, and redesigned with a new, brighter and easier-to-read packaging.
