DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens said this week that it will acquire Option Care, Buffalo Grove, Ill., by merger. Option Care provides specialty pharmacy and home infusion services from a national network of more than 100 pharmacies. Option Care will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Walgreens, which expects to complete the merger shortly.
