WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Hy-Vee has expanded its store-brand craft beer brand with a winter seasonal.

Snow Drift is the second seasonal to make its debut under the Baraboo private-label line.

A fall brew, Bonfire Marzen Ale, preceded it. A spring/summer brew is up next.

Snow Drift is a black India Pale Ale described as a “blend of caramel and chocolate malts and bold German hops.”

The seasonals join three year-round flavors that launched over the summer: Red Granite Lager, Lumberjack IPA and Woodpecker Wheat.

Baraboo is brewed locally by Stevens Point Brewery, Stevens Point, Wis.
