Gelson’s to Close Pasadena Store

LOS ANGELES — Arden Group here on Monday said it would close its Gelson’s Markets store in Pasadena, Calif., around the time its lease expires July 21.

The retailer said it intended to transfer some of the store fixtures to a new Gelson’s location expected to open later this year in Long Beach, Calif.

Arden operates 17 stores under the Gelson’s banner.
