HOUSTON — Grocers Supply Co. here reportedly plans to build a 500,000-square-foot distribution center in Dallas, with construction expected to start in the fall and completion due by early 2015.

The facility, on a 129-acre site, would be expandable to 750,000 square feet. The warehouse will stock dry groceries and refrigerated foods, the reports said.

The $3 billion company operates 13 facilities of varying sizes in Houston.
