Okey-Dokey Accelerates Store Openings

MIAMI — Okey-Dokey Grocery Markets has picked up the pace of its store openings.

MIAMI — Okey-Dokey Grocery Markets has picked up the pace of its store openings.

A new location of the small discounter is set to open Saturday in Pompano Beach, Fla. The store will be the fourth Okey-Dokey location to open this year and the sixth since December. Okey-Dokey has also scheduled a hiring event this Wednesday in Boca Raton, Fla., and two job fairs next week in Miami, according to a company website.

Okey-Dokey, backed by Dutch investors who previously funded the Russian retail chains Pyaterochka and Karusel, opened its first locations in October in South Florida. Officials have said the group envisioned having 400 stores and $1 billion in sales within four years of its debut.

Officials were not immediately available for comment Tuesday.
