KEASBEY, N.J. — ShopRite will open a new store later this year at the site of a former Pathmark in Glasgow, Del., a spokeswoman for Wakefern Food Corp. told SN this week.
The store will be owned and operated by Kenny Family ShopRites, Wilmington., Del. That group owns five other ShopRite locations in Delaware.
The Glasgow store is a former SuperFresh that was later converted to the Pathmark banner by A&P. It closed in 2011.
Santina Stankevich, a spokeswoman for Wakefern, said the store would measure 71,000 square feet and would include a new in-store café and the ShopRite from Home Internet shopping service. It is expected to open in late summer.
