WILMINGTON, Del. — The chairman of Delaware Supermarkets has purchased a shopping center where the company operates a ShopRite store, reports said.

FSSC, an entity headed by Bernie Kenney, chairman and founder of Delaware Supermarkets, purchased the First State Plaza from Jacksonville, Fla.-based landlord Regency Centers for $25 million, according to Globe Street.

The Kenney family, which has operated a ShopRite store in the center for 25 years, intends to make improvements to improve access to the property, the report said.
