Spartan Rebrands 2 Glen’s as Family Fare

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Spartan Stores has rebranded two Glen’s Markets stores in Traverse City, Mich., to its Family Fare banner, reports said.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Spartan Stores has rebranded two Glen’s Markets stores in Traverse City, Mich., to its Family Fare banner, reports said.

The transitions are concurrent with renovations at the stores and represent the introduction of the Family Fare banner to northern Michigan. According to the Record-Eagle newspaper, the company intends to transition additional Glen’s stores to the Family Fare banner as they are renovated.

Spartan acquired the Glen’s banner, which operates stores in northern Michigan, in 1999.

Company officials were not immediately available for comment.
