Two Sentry Stores Switch to Piggly Wiggly

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — Piggly Wiggly Midwest said Monday that two independently owned Sentry supermarkets in Wisconsin would switch to the Piggly Wiggly banner effective Aug. 23.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — Piggly Wiggly Midwest said Monday that two independently owned Sentry supermarkets in Wisconsin would switch to the Piggly Wiggly banner effective Aug. 23.

The stores in West Allis and Menomonee Falls are owned and operated by Ted and Joan Majdecki. The Majdeckis said they would continue to operate the West Allis store and would transfer ownership of the Menomonee Falls location to Don Peiffer, the current store manager.

Both stores are scheduled to be remodeled this year.

Piggly Wiggly Midwest will now supply 100 Piggly Wiggly supermarkets in  Wisconsin and northern Illinois, as well as nine Butera Market stores, two Euro Fresh stores in the Chicagoland area and three Lena’s Foods in the Milwaukee area.
