LITTLE FALLS, N.J. — Union workers at Foodtown stores represented by United Food and Commercial Workers Local 464A here have voted to ratify a new contract with the retailer.

The pact is similar to one Local 464A agreed to earlier this year with ShopRite, Kings and Stop & Shop stores, but included certain accommodations to Foodtown operators “that will permit them to be competitive and guarantee our job security,” the union said in a statement.

The agreement covers 371 Foodtown workers.
