Fresh Thyme Farmers Market said it would open its first store in Ohio this week.

The store located in Dublin, Ohio, near Columbus, is expected to open Wednesday. Grand opening festivities will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony including the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. Fresh Thyme said it will donate $2,500 to both the Children's Hunger Alliance and the Dublin Food Pantry during the ceremony.

"We're very excited to open our first store in Ohio, delivering natural, healthy food to the Dublin community at great prices," Fresh Thyme CEO Chris Sherrell said in a statement. The first 250 customers in line for the grand opening will receive a Fresh Thyme reusable shopping bag containing healthy, natural and organic grocery products worth over $50.

Fresh Thyme, based in Phoenix, is expected to open a second Ohio store later this month near Cincinnati.
