Relay Foods, the Charlottesville, Va.-based Internet natural and organic food retailer, opened for business in the Durham, N.C., market on Monday, allowing shoppers to pick up orders at any of three locations in the city.

The company said it planned to expand to other locations in the Research Triangle in coming weeks. The Triangle is the fifth major market to be served by Relay, which said it would also become the city’s first full-scale online grocery there.
