The “5-3-1” MasterCard provides users with 5% cash-back savings on fuel, 3% on dining and travel and 1% back on all other purchases. The card makes Sam’s Club the first mass retailer to offer chip-enabled technology in its cards for added security, the company said.

Officials said the card could allow shoppers to save up to $5,000 a year.
