Hannaford Bros. stores featured fresh, wild-caught Gulf of Mexico shrimp as part of game day snacks last weekend with in-store samples and recipe suggestions.

From Jan. 23-25, 185 stores in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Vermont sampled Gulf Coast BBQ shrimp and provided recipe cards and other promotional materials.

“This partnership helps offer Hannaford Bro. shoppers easy entertaining possibilities with the incredible iconic taste that only accompanies seafood harvested straight from the Gulf of Mexico,” Joanne Zaritsky, marketing director for the Gulf Seafood Marketing Coalition, said in a press release.

Hannaford, a Scarborough, Maine, division of Delhaize America, also featured Gulf shrimp in October for National Seafood Month.
