Wal-Mart Stores said it's expanding its Walmart Care Clinic walk-in medical clinic to two Supercenters in South Carolina.
Walmart Care Clinics, which debuted earlier this year in Texas, provide walk-in medical services such as wellness and preventative care, primary acute care and referrals to specialists for a $40-per-visit fee. Employees covered under Walmart’s health plan can receive the same services for $4 per visit.
Walmart currently operates Care Clinics in Supercenters in Copperas Cove, Carrolton and Benbrook, Texas. The South Carolina locations, in Sumter and Florence, are expected to open July 31.
