BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Haggen, which operates 32 supermarkets in Washington and Oregon, this week announced the deployment of a business intelligence and data warehouse solution. Haggen selected a data warehouse system from Teradata, Atlanta, and the ARC business intelligence solution from Manthan Systems for analytics and reporting. “The retail-specific capabilities of ARC and the high performance of Teradata have given our business managers a powerful platform for retail analysis to aid their category management, operations performance, and inventory management decision-making processes,” said Harrison Lewis, chief information officer at Haggen.
