NORTHFIELD, Ill. — Kraft Foods Group has appointed Omar Khalaf vice president of Industry Development. He will lead Kraft Sales Industry Development with a focus on category and customer development opportunities for retailers and their shoppers.
Khalaf spent nine years in retail before joining Nabisco as a sales rep in 1990. Since then he’s served in various roles including senior director of Planning & Insights for the West and customer vice president of the West Region. Most recently Khalaf led the Safeway team for Kraft. He replaces Regenia Stein who is retiring.
