EDINA, Minn. — Nash Finch here has selected Revionics to provide price and promotion optimization technology and services for Nash Finch’s corporate stores, Revionics, Sacramento, Calif., announced Friday. Revionics, which called this its largest customer contract to date, is also offering a suite of optional price and promotion optimization services to Nash Finch’s independent retail customers. “Nash Finch has been diligently working on a series of new pricing initiatives designed to make our corporate retail stores and our independent retail customers far more competitive in our various markets,” said Howard Befort, senior vice president, center store services, Nash Finch, in a statement. “We realized that the successful implementation of our initiatives would require the deployment of an advanced price optimization system.” As one of the largest food wholesale and retail companies in the United States, Nash Finch services independent retailers in 25 states.
