Dierbergs is partnering with retail technology and tools provider Swiftly on an app which enhances the grocer’s retail media network.

The app was launched in February and carries features like “On Sale For You”, which highlights personalized recommendations of items that are on sale or have a coupon available based on individual purchasing history. Shoppers can explore aisle locations for products, create personalized shopping lists, navigate the weekly flier, and work Dierbergs’ Rewards program.

Suppliers will also be able to reach shoppers through the retail media network.

“We view our partnership with Swiftly as activating an essential omnichannel toolkit to compete now and into the future,” said Laura Dierberg, EVP of Dierbergs.

“Today’s shoppers seek convenience and personalized experiences,” said Henry Kim, co-founder and CEO of Swiftly. “To stay competitive and increase both revenue and customer loyalty, grocers must embrace a modern digital strategy.”

Dierbergs, based in Chesterfield, Mo., operates 27 stores in the St. Louis region, two stores in Illinois, and one store in the Ozarks.
