NEW YORK -- Woman's Day Magazine and Nestle Refrigerated Cookie Dough are co-sponsoring a "Kids Save the Animals" contest with in-store signs and end-of-aisle displays in supermarkets nationwide.

The program includes 34 million recipe-contest freestanding inserts delivered through News America, a full-page advertisement in the Woman's Day April 4 issue (on sale March 14) and an essay contest for kids ages 6 to 14.

Approximately 30,000 ceiling danglers also will be provided, one per store. They will be decorated with a zebra logo and a message urging shoppers to look for the April 4 issue of Woman's Day. The FSI includes cents-off coupons for both the magazine and Nestle cookie dough.

To enter the essay contest, young people must submit one universal product code from a package of Nestle Refrigerated Cookie Dough and write about the endangered animal they want to save as well as what they like most about the product.

For each UPC received, Nestle will donate $1 to the American Zoo and Aquarium Association to help preserve endangered species.

Local zoos will sponsor Nestle Refrigerated Cookie Dough "wrapper days," giving discounts on annual zoo memberships with proof of purchase.

Zachery Ty Bryan, from the popular TV show "Home Improvement," will be the honorary judge and contest spokesperson on a media tour in March.

The Grand Prize is a family vacation for four to either Sea World, Wild Animal Park or Busch Gardens.
