SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Big Y has introduced a line of 14 gourmet fresh-baked filled cupcakes.
Among the flavors:
Ultimate Sundae, a chocolate cupcake filled with whipped “Bettercreme” frosting then topped with alternating swirls of double dutch fudge icing and whipped Bettercreme frosting and finished with chocolate fudge.
Sweet and Salty, a chocolate cupcake filled with caramel icing then topped with Dulce de Leche frosting and finished with chocolate soft kote.
Lemon Meringue, a yellow cupcake filled with lemon crème filling then topped with meringue and lightly browned in the oven.
The cupcakes sell for $2.49 each.
